I went to Apollo Coney on 3/16/23 about 11:30 am. The restaurant has a Mom and Pop shop feel, nothing fancy but the food. This is my first visit here. The lady that took my order on phone was very polite. My order was ready in 15 minutes. Pick up my order, a middle-aged lady with blonde hair.( I didn't catch her name. She knows who she is) 🙂. I'm big on customer service and she delivered it. She didn't treat me different because I was a new customer, I appreciate that. The breakfast was cooked like I had asked. It actually tastes like the food I cook for myself. I did put my toast in toaster though because I like the crunch. I had it with a Coke and a 😊. The customer service and the food will bring me back.

The place is exactly what you would expect from an old school Coney Island and that's a good thing. Food was great and so was the service. If you want a 5 star dining, go someplace else. If you want a 5 star coney experience, go here. A+

Apollo Coney Island is, by far, the best coney in Michigan. Their chili is amazing!! The Greek dressing is the best around. And try the rice pudding!!! Nick is doing his dad proud! You won’t regret coming here!

Walked in and left before ordering because this place is absolutely disgusting. The cook came out from the back with gloves on carrying cardboard boxes (still with the same gloves on) he proceeds to go in fridge and grab frozen fries to deep fry, reaches his hand in the bag with the same gloves! This isn’t even why we left. After that he dropped something on the floor, with STILL THE SAME GLOVES ON, picks it up, throws it away, and proceeds to keep touching food and cooking WITHOUT changing his gloves!!!! It was appalling to be honest and I immediately lost my appetite after that.

If I want coney’s this is definitely my go to place. My wife and I have been having coney’s here for years. It may be old but that’s fine, the food and staff are worth going here.

Picked up two delicious Coney dogs here. I was a little disappointed with the waitress she didn't even say one word to me however the guy working the grill was wonderful.

Place is worn down it looks like youre eating in a public restroom. Very uncomfortable seats / tables. Food is nothing special. Wouldnt visit again
